الفعل accreditare من التصريف الأول (-are) وهو منتظم ومتعدٍّ. له معنيان: قيد مبلغ في حساب (accreditare lo stipendio، إيداع الراتب) واعتماد شخص أو جهة رسميًّا (accreditare un giornalista، اعتماد صحفي). ويقابله في العربية أَوْدَعَ في الحساب أو اِعْتَمَدَ، وليس المعنى الثاني مطابقًا تمامًا لأَوْدَعَ.

· Note grammaticali
أَوْدَعَ è un verbo di forma IV (schema أَفْعَلَ) della radice و-د-ع, di tipo مثال (prima radicale wāw). Il senso base è «dare in deposito», quindi «versare, depositare» e, per il conto in banca, «accreditare». Il wāw iniziale resta consonante nel perfetto (أَوْدَعَ) ma diventa lunga ū nell'imperfetto (يُودِعُ) e yā' nel masdar (إِيدَاع, schema إِفْعَال). Si costruisce con l'oggetto e فِي o لَدَى: أَوْدَعَتِ الشَّرِكَةُ الرَّاتِبَ فِي حِسَابِ العَامِلِ «l'azienda ha accreditato lo stipendio sul conto del lavoratore». Si dice anche أَوْدَعَ السِّجْنَ «mettere in carcere».

أَوْدَعَ فعلٌ مزيدٌ بالهمزة على وزن أَفْعَلَ من الجذر المثال و-د-ع، ومعناه جعل الشيء وديعةً عند غيره، ويُستعمل للمال إذا قُيِّد في الحساب. يبقى الواو في الماضي ساكنًا بعد الفتحة (أَوْدَعَ)، وينقلب مدًّا في المضارع بعد الضمّة (يُودِعُ) وياءً في المصدر بعد الكسرة (إِيدَاع) على وزن إِفْعَال. واسم الفاعل مُودِع واسم المفعول مُودَع. ويتعدّى إلى مفعولين أحدهما بحرف الجرّ: أَوْدَعَ المبلغَ في الحسابِ.
